The Retell 145 telephone adapter/recording device transmits two-way telephone conversations into a recorder. It is for connection of analogue telephones between the wall socket and the line plug of the telephone. It will record from analogue PABX extensions sockets but it will not work on digital PABX extension
sockets. Ideal for journalists or market researchers or for anyone wanting to monitor worrying telephone calls. It can be used with any digital recorder with a 3.5 mm microphone socket). Simply plug this handy little device into the telephone socket, plug your phone into it and the cable into your digital recorder, switch on the recorder, answer the phone and bingo! The Retell 145 telephone adaptor complies with General Approval NS/G/1235/W/100025 and to BSEN 60950: 1992 Amd 5. The plug fits a recorder with 3.5mm diameter socket. You may need an adapter for recorders with a 2.5mm microphone socket, e.g. Olympus Pearlcorders. The Retell 145 works with standard BT home telephone (analogue) wall sockets. If your company has a PBX type digital telephone network with square sockets then you will need the TA103D digital adaptor.
