The Digital Pocket Memo 9500 is a professional dictation recorder that is a perfect model for those upgrading from tapes to digital dictation. The 9500 includes the popular four-position slide switch for familiar, single-handed operation. The large backlit LC display and ergonomic design with a full metal case ensure quality and usability. PLEASE NOTE that Philips supply two variants of this recorder: the LFH9500 (described here) or the almost identical LFH9520. The only difference is the functions operated by the four-position slider switch:
- The LFH 9500 has the "INTERNATIONAL" settings: RECORD, STOP, PLAY and FAST REWIND plus a separate FAST FORWARD button on the recorder
- The LFH 9520 has the "PHILIPS" settings: FAST FORWARD, PLAY/RECORD, STOP and FAST REWIND with a separate RECORD button on the recorder
