The Roland FA-66 Interface is a premium quality analogue interface designed to improve your audio quality when using Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, Garageband, Logic, Reason, SONAR and other music production software on Mac or PC. With high speed FireWire data transmission, the FA66 can record and monitor four simultaneous analogue audio channels at up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution. Its wide range of input and output options connect many audio devices. The FA-66 gives studio quality sound either at home, in the studio, or on the road. It is a completely portable recording center with premium analog components and clean high-gain microphone preamps providing +48V Phantom Power. Its built-in limiter provides prevents clipping. Mains power is not compulsory: just connect the FA-66 by one FireWire cable to your laptop and together they give you a high quality field recorder; less cables so you can record anywhere though the FA-66 does come with an AC adaptor for studio use.
