The Andrea P100 headset adapter enables an Andrea ANC microphone or Sennheiser Headset to work with Soundblaster compatible sound cards
The Andrea P100 headset adapter reroutes a small bias voltage from the ring of the SoundBlaster to the tip of the ANC microphone connector. This voltage is needed to drive the electret microphone elements of the microphones.
